I've started my TAFE course, too. It's an Advanced Diploma in Screen (Visual Effects), and there are only the three of us in the class most of the time. I don't think I ever mentioned this course on DevArt, did I? Oh well, you know now.
I'm gonna learn a wide variety of stuff to do with filming and visual effects (maybe special effects too, I'm not sure) which includes stuff like animation (2D and 3D), storyboarding, live-action stuff (with a cool professional camera!) and 3D modelling. It's all really fun so far, although one of my classmates has a lot of trouble with computers so we move pretty slowly sometimes.I should actually be in class now, but this morning's class was cancelled because the teacher has to do something and couldn't attend. I'll be heading out later to get there for the afternoon class. The journey's over an hour long, so I'm grateful for the sleep-in today.
I have to get around to scanning in the latest Squirrel Angels comic. I finally got the time to finish it the first day of TAFE, before I made friends with my classmates. I really wasn't expecting them to want to speak to me for some reason, even though we were all strangers to each other and there were apparently only the three of us in the class. Maybe because I'm so used to being an outcast I expect it without thinking. o.o
I'm gonna put up a photo now. Mum took it for me yesterday. We went out to Underwater World and met up with some old friends from the Netherlands. We hadn't seen them in years because they moved away (to England I think, and they were here because they're now moving to New Zealand) so it was nice seeing them again.
Aaaaand now I have nothing to say. Seeya!
