Yesterday was Donnie's birthday. He knows generally what we do on someone's birthday, even if he doesn't know when one is coming, and this year he turned four, I think. We wrapped up a new bone and some tennis balls (cuz he's always stealing Sisterling's and Brother's ones) and once everyone was awake we called him over and unwrapped them for him. He was really happy, and once the bone was out he grabbed it and ran off to chew it in a corner! He was totally hyper until his morning walk, and then he spent the rest of the day sleeping and chewing his bone! He can be such a funny dog sometimes!

Back to DevArt... I haven't been doing much drawing and stuff at all lately. Because obviously nobody wants to hire me for a part-time job (unlike EVERYONE ELSE IN MY FAMILY, who ALL have OTHER THINGS THEY CAN DO) I'm stuck at home all day every day until my Tafe course starts. Since we got rid of my desk when we left Europe, I have nothing I can really draw on. My little kiddie desk that was in storage is full of things and can't be used comfortably by someone of adult size, and my little lap-desk is uncomfortable to draw on for more than a few minutes.
The one thing I have been doing is computer-drawn comics. Although Squirrel Angels and Horns and Wings will have to be put on hold for a while, I may be able to actually continue Random Squirrel now. I think sometime this week I'll see if anymore of Random Squirrel 3 was done before I finished it... yeah, RS3 is over now. For a few months now I've been drawing Random Squirrel 4, and it's way better already. The drawing is better, the shading is better (starting with about the fifth one) and (most of) the humour is better too. It might not be as random as before, but I find it too hard to be random like that on demand. Random Squirrel's primary function is to be funny, so it will never be as serious as the hand-drawn comics. Although I can't say if it will be as funny as Jasmine the Unlucky Fairy. Hmm, I should really put up some more of those chapters I've written... Unlike my other written stuff, people were actually INTERESTED in that.
