Yesterday we finally were reunited with our little Donnie-bug! His plane was cancelled (and we weren't told) so we had to wait for an hour for the next plane to come with him. Quarantine had also destroyed his collar and not warned us, so we had to go buy a new one.
He's having loads of fun exploring the house, although he doesn't seem at all interested in my room for some reason. My old room was on the top floor with a huge window he could look out of, but the new house has only one floor and the windows aren't that big. There also isn't a spot he can just sit and look out at the world from anymore, which he used to love doing on the bench in our old backyard by the canal.

Gah, why is it so cold today? D: Ooh, it's about 20 degrees... no wonder.

That wasn't the only thing to happen yesterday. UV has come to DevArt! Whoever's in charge of it has gone around favouriting pictures to do with UV, and one of my REALLY OLD Paint-drawn pictures of Ruby was favourited. Hey, I have better pictures than that! And there's that one picture of Bryst and Muffin that was ignored... and my only picture of Kibeti is in scraps, so I guess that's only to be expected.
I've started a picture featuring all four of my current role-playing characters (Ruby, Bryst, Muffin, Kibeti), with a background and everything, but I'm not exactly happy with it at the moment. Bryst is just standing there, Muffin is looking too big... Eh, once I get the shading done, I'll see what I can do about the rubbish background and upload it.

Mum joined facebook for some unfathomable reason and we've hence been reunited with a neighbour from old Hazelbrook! She moved up to Queensland some time after we left, then found Mum on facebook and contacted her. It was quite wierd seeing her again after eight years, and I think only Sisterling and I really remembered her well enough to recognise her on sight. It'll probably be the same with her three daughters, although I don't know how long it'll be 'til I see them again. Apparently they're almost all married or something, and one of them has a kid! Since they're all about Sisterling's and my age, that's just wierd.
