Okay, I promised to put this up, so here it is!
These are various sketches of the main characters and situations for my short film, The Prank War. As you can see, it took me a while to get Spiffy looking alright!  I later decided, once I started to model Torch, that she looked better with pinkish skin than with white. I also recoloured her eyes to be blue.If the style looks familiar, that's because it was partially based on Homestar Runner. Spiffy is a cross between Trivia Time and his namesake Spiffy from Secret of Monkey Island.  Torch was partially based on an abandoned character called Champeen, then crossed with Homestar himself and given Strong Bad's boots. I think I might use this in the documentation when I have to submit it... not sure if they want concepts at the moment.  |
