Aha, I finally managed to upload this about several months late.
Acting as lead dog is our real-life pet Westie, Donnie. I'm probably the most proud of his picture, because somehow I managed to get him looking like he actually does, all white and fluffy and adorabubble! The second pair consists of Sidah and Dakor, from my 'Haven Island Chronicles'... which is basically a spinoff of Random Squirrel. Sidah's the black one and Dakor the red, both effectively wolves. The third pair is Kidan and Brune, the former being Sidah and Dakor's son and the latter from 'Sanctuary Tales'. Yeah, I suck at story names. Brune's some kind of spaniel, I think. I'm not sure I ever confirmed that. Coming up fourth is Supi the cupidae and Anoki the husky, from Sanctuary again. They're friends of Brune, the main characters of their arc, and Supi is only here because I needed one more dog on the team because he has wings and is thus not technically a canine proper. Fifth is Steinie and Nica, a pair of Canadian wolves and also from Sanctuary. They're the alphas of the pack there, but do very little leading most of the time, because most of the pack are either dogs or Supi. And Nica is about to stub her paw or something. Sixth in line is Typok and Coal. Typok's a wierd mish-mash of wolvyness, and Coal is a black Lab who seems to be a puppy in this picture purely by accident. I think. I must've forgot he's meant to have grown up before his story starts... Anyway, Typok has no story, and basically appears in my drawings every so often chasing plot-bunnies. Coal was with him for a while, before I managed to work him back into 'Six Pebbles'. I'm sure some people will recognise the pair in seventh place, even though it isn't blindingly obvious for one of them. In front is Spiffy, from my "Prank War" short film, and in back is an all-grown-up Kibeti the wolf, who lives in Deep Forest ( [link] ). She's still a puppy right now, but the Time-Jump is happening in a couple of weeks and she'll shoot ahead to adulthood over the skipped two years. Last in line are the sisters Monica and Dally, a pair who've been around since I was about eight. They're not dalmatians, although they're based on them, and Monica is specifically a shape-shifter... so she's going all stretchy to try and trip Dally up. And because in the end I had more characters than I thought, resting on the sled is a miscellanious hydin (mash-up of dog, hyena and meerkat) suffering from the cold and one of my Nintendogs, Butter the labrador. And then there's Leon the Loralian (humanoid wolf from Kalulia) complaining to me about the cold. So, massive explanation over. COMMENTS AHOY! (still on an MI kick. |

Ah, the poses! I spent ages trying to make each one unique! I ran out of steam around the point where Nica is tripping on a stray rock... then I started being forced to re-use leg positions.
Beth's getup may look warm, but it doesn't work too well.
